In January-March this year, Azerbaijan produced 16.1 thousand tons of propylene, which is 11.5 percent more than in the first three months of 2017, according to the report of the State Committee on statistics.
Some 29.3 thousand tons of polyethylene were produced in Azerbaijan in January-March, which is 2.8 percent more than in the same period of 2017.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan produced 30.1 thousand tons of ethylene (an increase by 2.8 percent as compared to January-March 2017).
During the first three months of 2018, the production of most of the main types of chemical products in Azerbaijan showed growth.
