Gulf Drilling Azerbaijan, a branch of the Gulf Drilling Supply FZE service company (UAE), is holding negotiations about participation in new projects, the company's Director Ilham Babayev told Trend July 23.

"The Azerbaijani branch of the company is engaged in drilling vertical and directional wells for oil, gas and water production, side-hole cutting and overhaul of wells, in particular for Suraknany Oil Operating Company, Balakhany Oil Operation Company, AzGerNeft, SOCAR, Global Energy, Bahar Energy, Azersu and other companies. We also have extensive experience outside the country, in particular, our branch has recently carried out work on the deepening and overhaul of wells at the Taribani field in Georgia. Negotiations on participation in new projects are underway, but it is too early to talk about it for certain reasons," Babayev said.

He noted that, the plans of the Azerbaijani branch also include the renewal and modernization of the material and technical base.

The Gulf Drilling Supply FZE company was established in 2007. The Azerbaijani branch of the company started its activity in the same year.
