Gasoline consumption down in Iran

Daily gasoline consumption in Iran decreased from 98 million liters to 79 million liters, Trend reports referring to the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC).

From Nov. 15 to Nov. 24, the average consumption of gasoline was about 79 million liters a day.

However, since the beginning of this Iranian year (March 21, 2019) to Nov. 14, gasoline consumption was about 98 million liters daily.

The company added that on Nov. 24, the consumption of gasoline was 75 million liters.

On Nov. 15, the price of gasoline sold within quotas in Iran rose by 10,000 rials (23 cent) to 15,000 rials (35 cent) per liter and the price of freely sold gasoline grew to 30,000 rials (71 cent) per liter.
