Turkmenistan and Russia can implement projects in the energy and transport sectors, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan State News Agency.

The heads of state noted the effectiveness of bilateral cooperation in the political sphere, including the cooperation within the framework of international organizations, in particular within the United Nations (UN).

The two countries have a high level of trade and economic relations. In particular, there is an increase in mutual trade turnover, and Joint Intergovernmental Commission contributes to the growth of trade turnover, the report said.
