Azerbaijan’s oil exports to Romania exceed 105 M euros

Romania’s imports of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals, crude from Azerbaijan from January through November 2020 exceeded 105.33 million euros in value, Eurostat told Trend.

The value of exports is as follows: 40,468,030 euros in February, 5,953,517 euros in April, 5,976,750 euros in June, 9,421,596 euros in July, 23,581,663 euros in August and 19,929,733 in November.

In terms of volume, in February 2020, this figure stood at 91,774,700 kg, 25,000,000 kg in April, 25,000,000 kg in June, 40,401,400 in July, 78,237,900 kg in August and 84,504,100 kg in November.

The country didn’t import petroleum oils and oils from Azerbaijan in other months of 2020.

The export of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals, crude from Azerbaijan to 27 European Union (EU) countries showed a month-on-month increase in November 2020.

The data shows that the volume of exports stood at 1,796,208,800 kg in November 2020, as compared to 1,765,478,500 kg in October 2020.

The lowest level of exports was recorded in May 2020 with 1,174,745,000 kg (1,294,934 tons) valued at 229,490,490 euros, while the highest level was observed in January 2020 with 2,133,565,600 kg (2,351,853 tons) of 1,019,130,004 euros.
