In January 2006 Azneftkimyamas Joint Stock Company (JSC) produced oil field and geological-exploration equipment, instruments, spare parts for them, industrial and scientific-technical services for 1.4m AZN or 6.2% more as compared 2005, the Company told Trend.
Azneftkimyamas was established at the 22 March 2001 Presidents decree. It includes 14 machine-building plants, 4 scientific-research and design-constructor institutes.
The Company noted that over this period the volume of the production of the Sattarkhan machine-building plant comprised 200,000 manats, the Surakhani machine-building plant 212,300 manats, the Sabunchi scientific-production association (NGO) 170,000 manats, the Baki Fehlesi machine-building plant 202,100 manats, the Baku machine-building plant 130,000 manats.
In 2006 Azneftkimyamas targets to output products with the total amount of 105bn manats, or 15bn more than previous year. In 2004 the figure was equal to 85bn manats, or 8bn more than previous year.
According to the National Bank of Azerbaijan, as of 1o February 2006 official rate of US dollar was 4571 manats, or 0,9142 AZN.
