Pumping of the first gas from the gas compressor and water-injection platform, installed in the Central Gunesli field, is expected in 2nd quarter of 2006, Trend reports quoting Bruce Lubersky, the Vice-President of BP on Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli project.
According to Lubersky, commission of Eastern Azeri platform with foot block on the field is expected in late 2006. In July 2006 upper modules of the platform will be loaded to barge and ready for delivery to the sea.
In late May 2006 BP will receive dwelling blocks for extraction, technical proceeding and pumping of gas and oil. In late June 2006 drilling modules will be delivered to Baku for the platform. The platform is expected to be commissioned in the 2nd quarter of 2008.
AT present the company works on installation of foot block in Eastern Azeri. 21 vessels are used in the operation. The work on expansion of the Sangachal oil terminal of BP is also underway. The object is capable to refine and transport around 750,000 barrels of oil per day.
