AIOC Pumps Over 14,603m Tons of Azeri Light oil Pumped by Jan-Sep 2006

During January-September 2006, the Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC), which is developing Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli offshore block, exported 14,603 million tons of Azeri Light oil, an increase of 7,603 million tons from last year.

AIOC informed Trend, in this period the pipeline Baku-Supsa (western route) pumped 5,223 million tons of oil, an increase of 5,157 million tons from last year.

The pipeline Baku-Novorossiysk (Northern route) exported 2,495 million tons against 1,683 million in the same period of 2005.

Georgian Port Batumi received 3,365 million tons against 671,500 tons a year ago. 3,519,900 tons of oil has been pumped through Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline during January-September 2006.

In September 2006, AIOC export totaled 1,972 million tons of oil against 1,173 million tons in September 2005. The Baku-Supsa pipeline in September exported 515,267 tons against 589,400 tons in August 2005. Baku-Novorossiysk exported in August 2006 a total of 94,603 tons against 328,112 tons in September 2005 РіРѕРґР°. Port Batumi received 216,173 tons against 256,000 tons in September 2005. BTC pipeline pumped 1,146,000 tons.
