47 million barrels of crude oil have been piped through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Crude Oil Pipeline, dubbed as the project of the century officially brought online on July 13, 2006, Trend reports
The BTC officials reported that the oil shipments at Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) Crude Oil Pipeline, which brings Caspian oil to international markets via Turkey and has opened Adana Ceyhan district to the world, are going on seamlessly.
65 ships have been loaded at the Haydar Aliyev Sea Terminal in Ceyhan to date.
Moreover, 3.16 million barrels have been stocked up at the storage houses at the site. The revenues made by Turkey from transfers and taxes have approached 200 million dollars.
