BP Azerbaijan (the operator of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli Field Development, announced the rehabilitation of oil production from the Central Azeri field after the elimination of all problems linked with electricity generation powers on the platform, Trend reports.
Prior to cut in oil production from Central Azeri, the general production from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli fields had comprised over 600,000 barrels a day.
The volume of the production on the Central Azeri field was 263,000 barrels per day (prior to the reduction), about 150,000 barrels on the western section of the field, 70,000 on the eastern, and 138,000 barrels on Chirag field.
