Number of licenses issued for establishment of enterprises in Iran’s Ilam Province spikes

The number of licenses issued for the establishment of industrial and manufacturing enterprises in the Ilam Province (western Iran) increased by 62 percent from the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2020) to date on November 5, compared to the same period last Iranian year, the Deputy Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Ilam Province Vali Baj said, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.

The deputy chairman emphasized that 151 licenses were issued for establishment of enterprises in the province during the reporting period.

“It is planned to invest about 3.74 billion rials (about $89,000) to the establishment of 151 enterprises. As many as 3,660 people will be employed with the launch of enterprises,” he added.

Baj noted that moreover, the licenses were issued for the launch of 23 enterprises in the province over the same period. About 3.97 billion rials (about $94,600) have been invested on the construction of these enterprises and 162 people were employed.

As reported, there are 530 industrial enterprises operating in Ilam Province.
