BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 25. Azerbaijan’s PASHA Bank OJSC has hosted a press conference to discuss its performance for the first half of 2024, Trend reports.

PASHA Bank board member Murad Suleymanov said that PASHA Bank OJSC plans to issue bonds by the end of this year.

“The bond issue will be conducted both in manat and US dollar. The volume of the issue is being discussed now and will depend on market demand. We plan to place the bonds by the end of this year,” he noted.

PASHA Bank's compliance and management director Anar Karimov noted that PASHA Bank's branch will be opened in Shusha in November 2024.

“It is planned to open a branch or unit of PASHA Bank in Karabakh in November this year. The building for the future branch has already been determined. The branch will be located in the Shusha,” he said.

Anar Karimov added that, PASHA Bank plans to open a representative office in Aghdam.

“The office in Aghdam is scheduled to open following the establishment of the branch in Shusha city. Currently, a building is already present at that location. It is anticipated to open next year,” he explained.

Deputy Chairman of the PASHA Bank Board, Bahruz Naghiyev, in his turn stressed that PASHA Bank is considering financing initiatives in the field of renewable energy.

"We are currently working on several renewable energy projects with a total value of around $70 million. These projects involve the construction of solar and wind power plants in Karabakh and Nakhchivan. We expect to complete several processes and hope to finance at least one of these projects by the end of 2024," he said.
