Teleradio to Optimize TV and Radio Broadcasting in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Baku, 23 April / Trend / Teleradio joint venture of the Communication and TV Ministry of Azerbaijan is holding technical work to optimize TV and radio programs broadcasting in the country.

According to the Communication Ministry, the broadcasting of Alternativ TV and Simurq TV is provided from the tower Ganja Broadcasting Centre. Measures have been taken to improve broadcasting capacity of the Kереz TV in Ganja.

Gulustan TV Broadcasting Centre transmitter with a capacity of 2KWt, which belongs to the Azad Azerbaijan TV channel, was changed to 5KWt capacity transmitter, and the capacity of Ganja TV Broadcasting Centre transmitter of 1KWt was changed to 2 KWt.

The TV transmitter with capacity of 1 KWt on 50 MHz frequency was put into commission in the Danachi village of Zagatala region of Azerbaijan.

The transmitter of Alcoma type was set up to broadcast Region TV in the northern part of the country- between Khachmaz and Guba. Another transmitter Elettronika with capacity 1KWt was put into commission in the Guba-based radio station.

Transmitters with capacity of 1KWt have been set up in the Gulustan TV Broadcasting Centre on 91 MHz frequency, as well as Zagatala region TV Broadcasting Centre on 88.6 MHz frequency, Guba TV Broadcasting Centre on 100.7 MHz frequency and Lerik TV Broadcasting Centre on 102.8 MHz frequency in order to expand broadcasting of the Burc FM radio.
