The number of requests related to computer security in Azerbaijan decreased by almost 6.5 percent in July 2020, compared to June 2020, amounting to 292, Trend reports.
This is stated in the report of the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) under the Special Communication and Information Security State Agency of the Special State Protection Service of Azerbaijan.
As reported, 98.2 percent of the total number of requests were considered and satisfied in July 2020.
During July 2020, based on the information security audit carried out by the CERT, seven reports were prepared and sent to the relevant structures, which is 2.1 times less compared to June 2020.
According to CERT, two domains and 11 subdomains were registered in the Azerbaijani segment of the internet in June 2020.
The total number of requests related to computer security from January through July 2019 amounted to 2,582, of which 97.1 percent were considered and satisfied. Meanwhile, based on the audit on information security, 121 reports were prepared and sent to the relevant structures.
In the first seven months of 2019, 29 domains and 84 subdomains were registered in the Azerbaijani segment of the internet, which are usually used by organizations to create unique site names for their divisions or services.
In 2019, the number of requests related to computer security in Azerbaijan increased by almost 21 percent compared to 2018 and amounted to 4,447.
According to CERT, 45 domains and 107 subdomains were registered in the Azerbaijani segment of the internet in 2019.
