Azerbaijani startup project eyes to expand opportunities for online insurance

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 16

By Sadraddin Aghjayev - Trend:

Azerbaijani ‘Insure’ startup project plans to expand opportunities for online insurance, Founder of the startup project Azer Ismayilov told Trend.

Many buyers lose time when drawing up an insurance policy and are forced to receive offers from each insurance company separately, he said.

The ‘Insure’ online insurance project provides the public with the opportunity to receive offers from several dozen companies at once and make a choice by looking at their ratings and reviews, Ismayilov said.

He noted that the ‘Insure’ project cooperates with many insurance companies in Azerbaijan.

“Another important aspect of our platform is that insurance companies can be integrated into our project. Thus, through our project, customers can purchase a product of the corresponding insurer online and in less than a minute,” the expert added.

According to Ismayilov, the ‘Insure’ project is currently cooperating with more than 20 insurance companies on various types of insurance.

“We have signed relevant agreements with insurance companies and have been cooperating with them since 2016. In January 2021, the first CASCO insurance package became available on our platform, which can be issued online. Currently, this package is limited, we are working on expanding the possibilities of the CASCO insurance package and some others when registering online,” he said.

Talking about the commercial interest of the UK, the founder of the startup said that through the Insure platform, they get high traffic to their sites and large sales through online channels.

“Most companies see our platform not as the main one, but as an additional sales channel, and at the same time as a platform for advertising and traffic,” the expert noted.

Ismayilov also noted that the cybersecurity experts of the 'Insure' project provide full control against possible external attacks.

“We have staff with sufficient cybersecurity experience. We are constantly working to improve our technical level with the help of certain protection mechanisms so that our customers' data are reliably protected,” said the founder of the Insure project.
