Over 82,000 visits were made from Russia to Georgia in November of this year, which is 10.9 percent less compared to last year, Trend reports citing the Georgian National Tourism Administration.
The number of tourist visits from Russia to Georgia reached 53,500, which is 24 percent less compared to the same period last year.
Over the 11 months of 2019, the number of visitors from Russia to Georgia amounted to more than 1.4 million people, which is 4.9 percent more compared to the previous year.
As for the number of tourist visits, this figure exceeded one million, which is 0.1 percent more compared to 2018.
After the introduction of aviation restrictions by Russia, the Georgian government is making every effort to minimize the possible negative consequences.
