Consortium of Turkish companies to build railway line In Bulgaria

The consortium with participation of Turkish construction companies Cengiz Inshaat and Duygu Muhendslik won a tender for construction of Elin Pelin-Vakarel railway line in Bulgaria, Trend reports citing Turkish media.

The cost of this large-scale project amounts to 255 million euros.

The consortium of Turkish companies will construct a railway siding with a length of 20 kilometers, which is the strategic part of Bulgarian railway network.

Within the construction of the railway, eight bridges and 11 bovine passages will be built. Under the project, reconstruction of Pobit Kamik railway station will be held. In addition, the consortium will install alarm and video surveillance systems over the 20-kilometer railway line.

Nine companies from China, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland and Bulgaria participated in the tender.
