Kazakhstan's cars export value revealed

Kazakhstan has exported passenger cars worth $2.6 million to countries outside Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) during first five months of 2020, Trend reports with reference to the statistics data of EAEU.

Thus, the majority of cars exported by Kazakhstan outside EAEU accounted for Turkmenistan (30.7 percent of total volume exported). Thus, Kazakhstan has exported cars worth approximately $505,073 to Turkmenistan.

During the reporting period Kazakhstan has also exported cars to Tajikistan (cars worth $294,414). Cars worth $396,543 exported from Kazakhstan to United Arab Emirates.

In turn, cars of Kazakh manufacturing worth $18,607 was exported to the UK over first five months of 2020. Cars worth $43,267 were exported to France, worth $1.7 million to Uzbekistan, and $145,700 to Ukraine.

Automotive manufacturers transferred a total of 3.6 billion tenge ($8.9 million) to Kazakhstan’s budget in 1Q2020, which is 50.6 percent more than in 1H2019.

The overall volume of budget payments made by Kazakhstan’s ventures operating in automobile industry (including retail sale and service of automotive equipment) amounted to 30.8 billion tenge ($74.4 million), which is 4.9 percent less than in 1H2019.

The overall number of cars sold in Kazakhstan in 1H2020 amounted to 25,259 cars, which is 39.1 percent more year-on-year.
