TEHRAN, Iran, Dec.21

Trend:

Iran's Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has prepared a package that includes financial aid and foreign currency to the auto industry by the support of the Central Bank of Iran that would lead to an increase in quality and quantity of produced vehicles, said the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade.

"By breaking the production monopoly and creating a competitive market, public automakers could move towards increasing production with good quality," said Alireza Razm Hosseini, Trend reports citing IRNA.

"Gradual stability in foreign currency rate would occur in the auto market as well and would improve the automaker's situation," he said during a visit to SAIPA.

"SAIPA is to provide new model "Shahin" to the market, the auto production group is working to fulfill its commitments and would increase production considerably by the end of the current Iranian year (started March 20, 2020)," Hosseini added.

"SAIPA shares 40 percent of the country's auto production and it is trying to improve its share and preserve the market," he noted.

Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade has visited SAIPA's research and innovation center on Saturday alongside the production hall that montages the new vehicle "Shahin" that is designed by the automaker.
