Russia's KAMAZ company and Turkmenistan are working to strengthen and expand cooperation in the supply and technical support of KAMAZ vehicles in Turkmenistan, regional representative of KAMAZ Marat Garifullin told Trend.
"The parties are taking all necessary measures to ensure long-term bilateral cooperation," the message reads.
The company also added that the distributor of KAMAZ in Turkmenistan is KAMAZ FTC Corp. LLP company.
"KAMAZ FTC Corp. LLP is actively working to meet the needs of customers of trucks, spare parts for them, as well as to provide professional service and repair of equipment," Garifullin emphasized.
Some 463 KAMAZ trucks for various purposes are planned to be delivered to Turkmenistan in 2021, said Garifullin.
The message also revealed the final number of units of equipment delivered to Turkmenistan from KAMAZ.
As part of the implementation of the Agreement signed in 2019 between KAMAZ company and the Turkmenawtoulaglary” (Turkmen highways) Agency of the Ministry for Industry and Communications of Turkmenistan, 690 units of KAMAZ equipment for various purposes were delivered in 2020, which corresponds to the planned volume of delivery.
Earlier KAMAZ also noted that in 2019, an agreement was signed between KAMAZ and Turkmenawtoulaglary” (Turkmen highways) Agency of the Minister for Industry and Communications of Turkmenistan, the purpose of which is to strengthen cooperation in the supply and technical support of KAMAZ trucks in Turkmenistan.
The agreement stipulates the supply of KAMAZ trucks for various purposes in the amount of 1,982 units in the period from 2019 to 2021. To the date, two-way work is underway to fulfill this order. It is expected that the agreements will be implemented in full and on time.
