Some new appointments were made in the Kazakh Interior Ministry, Kazinform reported with reference to the Ministry.
According to the Ministry, police major general Kanat Kozhakhmetov has been appointed as Criminal Police Chief, Police Colonel Marat Kozhayaev - as Investigative Committee Chairman and Police Colonel Zhanat Suleimenov - chairman of Internal Affairs Department in transport sphere.
Moreover, some staff changes were made in regional internal affairs department. Police Colonel Akhan Kazhkenov has been appointed as Akmola Region Internal Affairs Department head, Police Colonel Tlegen Matkenov - as Kostanai Region Internal Affairs Department head and Police Major General Meyrhan Zhamanbaev - as Mangistau Region Internal Affairs Department chairman.
