Reason Why Kazakhstan Government Resigned Made Public

Kazakhstan announced the reason why the Government of the Country resigned. Sergey Kuyanov, the Press-Secretary of Danial Akhmetov, the Prime-Minister of the Country, informed Trend Correspondent to Kazakhstan that the Head of the Kazakhstan Government himself had written a request on his resignation and sent it to Kazakhstan President Nursoultan Nazarbayev.

The reason is very simple on вЂ" the man is tired. The term of his premiership is three years. None of his predecessors has worked such a long term on this post. It is not a short period, he explained.

In accordance with the legislation, the Head of the State appoints a new Prime-Minister, agreeing it with the Parliament of the Country. It is already known that the joint sitting of the Chambers of the Kazakhstan Parliament has been fixed for January 10.

The press-service of the Government informed that Mr. Akhmetov said that Kazakhstan President Nursoultan Nazarbayev admitted his resignation.

Danial Akhmetov, 53-year-old had headed the Kazakhstan Government since summer, 2003. He also was Akim (the Head of the Executive Power) of Pavlodar and North-Kazakhstan Regions.

According to some data, the candidacy of Karim Masimov has been nominated for the post of Prime-Minister of the Country. The 41-year-oil Masimov has taken the post of Vice-Premier and been responsible for development of strategic directions in the development of the economy of the country.

Earlier Mr. Masimov headed commercial People Bank of Kazakhstan. In addition, he was the Assistant President, Transport and Telecommunications Minister, Vice-Premier, Economy and Budget Planning Minister of the Country.
