China to provide Kyrgyzstan with grant of $55M

Government of Kyrgyzstan has approved the draft agreement with the Chinese government on technical and economic cooperation, Tazabek reports.
Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev signed the corresponding decree on May 22.
According to the draft agreement, the government of China provides Kyrgyzstan with a grant totaling 350 million Chinese yuan (about $55 million) for preparation and implementation of the "Development of the Street and Road Network of the City of Bishkek" project.
Specific issues will be considered in an agreement to be signed by the parties additionally.
