BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 13. Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover significantly increased from January through April 2022, Trend reports with reference to the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the committee, the foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan totaled $3 billion, which is an increase of 42.8 percent compared to the same period last year ($2.1 billion).
At the same time, the foreign trade turnover of Kyrgyzstan with the CIS countries in the reporting period amounted to $1.3 billion, an increase of 18.1 percent compared to the same period in 2021 ($1.1 billion).
The total value of Kyrgyz exports reached $506.8 million from January through April 2022, which is an increase of 14.2 percent compared to the same period of last year ($591.2 million).
Kyrgyzstan imported goods worth $2.5 billion from January through April 2022, which is 66.6 percent more than in the same period of 2021 ($1.5 billion).
