BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 10. Kyrgyzstan recorded an increase in volume of remittance inflows in June 2022, Trend reports citing the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the statistical data, money transfers to Kyrgyzstan in June increased by 23.3 percent compared to May ($257.2 million) - up to $317.2 million.
Russia ranked first among the countries of the world in terms of remittances to Kyrgyzstan in June 2022 ($302.7 million), followed by the US - $4.8 million.
Meanwhile, the volume of remittances to Kyrgyzstan from January through June 2022 totaled $1.3 billion.
