Tajikistan continues operations to round up armed insurgents who killed 28 and wounded more than 10 troops in an ambush attack on a military convoy in a mountain gorge 180 kilometres east of the capital Dushanbe on September 19th, radio Voice of Russia reported.
In the latest development, two illegal armed groups have laid down arms. Reports say the members are cooperating with government forces.
