BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 21. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has published an updated forecast for Tajikistan's GDP growth rate, Trend reports citing the ADB's September report.
According to the ADB's forecast, Tajikistan's GDP growth in 2022 will be 4 percent and 5 percent in the next year.
Meanwhile, in its April report, the ADB predicted Tajikistan's GDP growth at the level of 2 percent in 2022 and 3 percent in 2023.
Earlier this month the Asian Development Bank approved a $1 million technical assistance grant to help the Tajikistan government improve access and quality of secondary education in the country.
Since Tajikistan joined ADB in 1998, the bank has become the country’s largest development partner with over $2.3 billion in total assistance.
