The Commerzbank AG and the Turkmen Central Bank held a workshop in Ashgabat. The workshop was dedicated to further improvement of the national financial and loan systems through international norms and standards.
The workshop reviewed correspondent relationships, which is one of the interbank relations, the Altyn Asyr said. Interbank operations decrease risks during operations as an important source for additional incomes and incentive to expand the cooperation between banks.
Turkmen banks officials were informed of the Commerzbank AG activity. Commerzbank AG is the second large bank in Germany and one of the leading banks in Europe.
