Turkmen president instructs gov't to draft 2015 public budget

The Turkmen government submitted a draft resolution on the state budget-2015 to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the national television channel Altyn Asyr reported on May 27.
"The president signed a draft resolution with the specific instructions," the report said.
President Berdimuhamedov in particular instructed to direct a significant part of funding to form the country's regional infrastructure, to introduce know-how in the sectors of the economy, and to develop social sphere.
Transfers from oil and gas, chemical, power generation, and construction sectors will form the country's public budget revenue. It is planned to upgrade the agricultural, transport, communication, textile and food fields.
The revenues are expected to increase through further development and support for the enterprises' activity.
The 2014 public budget revenue was adopted in the amount of 94.13 billion manat and expenses in the amount of 97.9 billion manat in Turkmenistan.
The official rate of the manat to one dollar is 2.85 Turkmen manat on May 27.
