ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 3. Turkmenistan's delegation has participated in UNESCO's Digital Learning Week 2024 in Paris, focusing on the role of artificial intelligence in education, Trend reports via the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
The "Digital learning and transformation of education" event was hosted by the delegation, led by Permanent Delegate of Turkmenistan Maksat Chariev and Chief Expert on Education of the Turkmen National Commission for UNESCO Gulnabat Gurdova.
The event began with speeches from Stefania Giannini, UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Education, and a video message from Doreen Bogdan-Martin, Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union.
A key highlight was the discussion on integrating artificial intelligence into educational systems and aligning these advancements with the Sustainable Development Goals.
The participation of Turkmenistan highlighted its commitment to advancing educational technology and contributing to the international dialogue on digital learning transformation. The event also underscored UNESCO's dedication to fostering global collaboration and innovation in education.
