BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 18. Uzbekneftegaz JSC has revealed the volume of liquefied gas supplied to the population through Hududgaztaminot JSC during the first 17 days of January 2023, Trend reports via the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

The increase of gas supply is being done due to growing cold in the country.

According to the source, from January 1 through January 17, Hududgaztaminot JSC has supplied 31,100 tons of liquefied gas to the Uzbek population, which is 3.9 percent or 1,200 tons more than was planned.

The volume of supplied liquefied gas, by region:

Kashkadarya region — 5,200 tons;

Andijan region — 4,700 tons;

Samarkand region — 4,300 tons;

Ferghana region — 4,000 tons;

Namangan region — 3,600 tons;

Surkhandarya region — 3,200 tons;

Bukhara region — 1,500 tons;

Khorezm region — 1,100 tons;

Karakalpakstan — 1,000 tons;

Navoi region —800 tons;

Syrdarya region — 700 tons;

Jizzakh region — 600 tons;

Tashkent region —300 tons.

Earlier in January, Uzbekneftegaz JSC completed repair work at well No.5, and drilling at well No.97 of the Sharkiy Berdak gas condensate field (the country’s Muynak region). As a result, an industrial gas flow of 220,000 cubic meters of gas and 2 tons of gas condensate per day was obtained. A perforation of well No.5 was carried out (1709-1707 meters, 1694-1682 meters, and 1660-1650 meters), while perforation of No.97 was carried out in the range of 2442-2434 meters, 2359-2354 meters, and 2346-2342 meters.
