Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on Tuesday that the US has been trapped in Iraq's quagmire and the country's inhuman behavior in Iraq and Afghanistan has aroused the hatred of the masses in the Middle East region, reported IRNA.

According to the Information and Press Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mottaki made the remark in a meeting with Bolivian special envoy to Tehran Carlos Garcia.

The two sides' leaders are determined to broaden all-out relations between Iran and Bolivia, Mottaki said.

Mottaki also called the last year's visit of the Iranian president to Bolivia as a new chapter in relations between the two countries and said during talks between the two sides' presidents, the prospects of future cooperation between the two sides was drawn up and "We are to implement agreements signed by the two sides."

Expansion of mutual cooperation in construction of dams, bridges, power plants, oil and gas facilities as well as in media and educational fields can help deepen ties between Iran and Bolivia, Mottaki said.

Having common views on regional developments in the Latin America would have positive results for the regional people, Mottaki said.

The Bolivian special envoy who carries a special message from President Evo Morales for Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad described Iran as a country attempting to establish peace worldwide and make a better future for the international community.

Sharing identical views on global developments has brought Iran and Bolivia much closer, he said.

He said the aim behind his visit to Iran was to appreciate the last year's visit by the Iranian president to Bolivia and to explore avenues for speedy implementation of the agreements signed by the two countries.
