Iranian Air Force launched four-day exercises today. The exercises will be held in the Persian and Oman Gulf in three stages, IRINN television channel reported.
During exercises pilots will cover an area of 3,600 kilometers, Deputy Commander of Iranian Armed Forces Mohsun Darabagi said.
He said the exercises will be held under conventional name "Rise of Provincial Sun". "The exercises aim to raise military maneuver skills of young pilots, to test defense technology, new ammunition and to perform top-up on air," he said.
