Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani said on Saturday Pakistani people will soon be provided with Iran's gas, IRNA reported.
"The two countries' officials have decided to help people in Islamic country of Pakistan be provided with Iranian gas as soon as possible," Larijani told his Pakistani counterpart Nayer Hossein Bokhari.
He called for utilizing all the capacities available to raise volume of trade.
"Iran's Majlis has a special attitude to the issue, calling for promotion of the level of Iran-Pakistan relations, willing to pass necessary laws in that direction."
He pointed to current problems in the region and said no formula to current regional problems will work unless through cooperation and sharing information.
Bokhari for his part called for enhanced relations between the two countries.
He said Pakistani Senate is ready for expansion of ties with Iran, helping restoration of stability and security in the region.
He noted that consultations by Islamic countries to find a solution to problems and non-reliance on big powers are the sole way for restoration of security and tranquility to the region.
