(Itar-Tass) - There is no authentic information in Pyongyang that could confirm possible preparations for North Korea's second nuclear test. At least North Korean official sources keep silent on the matter leaving foreign media reports on the issue without commentaries. Neither the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) nor its official central news agency KCNA has reacted to rumours about the possibility of the second test. However, according to established tradition, such publications are never commented on in North Korea, reports Trend.

Pyongyang has so far not officially reacted to the UN Security Council resolution adopted on October 14 that denounces the North Korean nuclear test.

Information about possible preparations of the North Korean authorities for a new nuclear test appeared earlier in American media. In particular, they reported that intelligence satellites registered unusual transport movement and other heightened activities in the area of a test range in the northeast of North Korea where the first nuclear test was carried out.
