Austria to help Iran build "nuclear hospital"

Iran produces over 25 types of radiopharmaceuticals, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi said.
Ali Akbar Salehi noted that Iran exports the home-made pharmaceuticals to several countries including Germany, Egypt and Iraq, Mehr news agency reported.
The country’s atomic chief further added that Iran plans to spend 300 million euros on a project to create its first “nuclear hospital”.
There are talks underway with an Austrian company to cooperate with Iran in building the hospital, he added.
He further noted that Iran will send off a medical team to Austria in order to receive training on nuclear medicine.
Among the objectives of Iran's nuclear program is to use the technology in the field of medicine, namely research and development as well as production of radiomedicines.
