Iran exported products worth $20 million to Azerbaijan in the first month of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), Trend reports referring to the Iranian Trade Promotion Organization.
During this period, Iran exported 33,000 tons of products to Azerbaijan.
Export of goods to Azerbaijan accounted for 0.8 percent of all exports of Iran.
Iran’s exports to Azerbaijan decreased by 9 percent in terms of value and 11 percent in terms of weight compared to the same period last year (started March 21, 2018).
Azerbaijan ranks 14th in the export of Iranian products.
As for neighboring countries, Iran exported 66,000 tons of products worth $26 million to Russia. Export of products to Russia decreased by 9 percent in terms of value and increased by 2 percent in terms of weight, as compared to the similar period of the previous Iranian year (started March 21, 2018). Russia ranks 13th in the export of Iranian products.
In the same period, Iran exported 258,000 tons of goods worth $119 million to Turkey. Turkey ranks 6th in the export of Iranian products.
