In order to support Iranian exporters of technical and engineering services 11 actions were taken already to support the presence of Iranian companies in target markets, said director general of the Office for Developing Export of Services in Trade Promotion Organization of Iran Sohrab Salimi, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"Supporting country's export development strategy is necessary for national production," he explained.
Speaking about the actions of the government in this regard, Salimi pointed out to accepting export activities of contractor companies for tax exemption, issuing export license for exporting services for these companies, consistent informing about opportunities for tenders and foreign projects, etc.
"Other actions included assignment and extension of $200 million credit to exporters of technical and engineering services to Iraq, sending negotiating teams to target markets and prioritizing export of technical and engineering services in incentive packages in the current Iranian year (started March 21,2021)," he said.
