Georgia, Tbilisi, 8 September / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / Majority of people participating in opinion poll held by weekly Kviris Palitra (Palette of Week) believes that the Georgian authorities could prevent the Russian military's intervention. A total of 43% of people participating in the opinion poll held amongst 407 respondents consider that the Georgian authorities have had such opportunity, despite of the Ossetia and Russian provocation.
According to 35.8% of respondents, it was impossible to prevent interference, because it was prepared within several years and the conflict entered active phase over last months.
Some 21.2% of respondents find difficult to answer this question and to respond unambiguously.
