The Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe today will discuss the preliminary report prepared on the democratic development of Georgia.
The report was prepared by the Committee's rapporteurs Kastriot Islam and Michael Jense on the results of their visits to Georgia in April and July 2010.
According to the "The First Channel", the report analyzed in detail all the reforms that are aimed at promoting democracy in Georgia. In particular, reform of police, courts and the Constitution. The document also positively evaluated the dialogue between the authorities and the opposition.
