Radical Islamic groups infiltrated into Libya during the revolution and after that to take revenge on the United States, Libyan Head of State Mohamed Yousef el-Magariaf said in an interview with Turkish news agency Anadolu.
He said several people suspected of attacking U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, that killed the American Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three employees of the diplomatic mission, have been already arrested.
The FBI is already involved in investigation of the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi.
The movie, "Innocence of Muslims," released in the United States, caused a wave of anti-American protests in a number of Muslim countries, including Libya, Egypt, Tunisia and Sudan. The U.S. embassies have been attacked.
