The five permanent members of the UN Security Council prepared a provisional text Wednesday for a possible draft resolution on chemical weapons in Syria, a UN diplomat told dpa.
All veto powers seem to agree on the text, which might be presented to the Security Council as early as Friday.
The UN diplomatic source said that the draft follows the framework US Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov agreed on in Geneva.
