The number of casualties from shelling in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo climbed to at least 17, with over 120 wounded, a local source told Sputnik on Friday.
The previous toll stood at 10 killed and 80 wounded when a reported rocket-propelled grenade attack struck the city’s western neighborhood of Al-Furqan and the adjacent university dormitories.
According to the Syrian SANA news service’s correspondent on the ground, the updated number of casualties climbed to 20 dead and 140 wounded.
