Azerbaijan, Baku, Oct. 12 /Trend, T.Jafarov/

Domestic problems and the illegitimacy of the ruling regime will not be solved with the U.S.'s transfer of the latest technologies to Israel, Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi told reporters in Baku at a press conference on Tuesday.
"The establishment of the [Israeli] regime is already a problem. The U.S. should respond to the international community for the transfer of technology to the criminal regime," said Vahidi.

According to him, the information about the transfer of American fighters F-35 to Israel is a psychological pressure, which is put to cover up the failures of Israel in the recent war with Lebanon in July 2006.

"Problems are inside Israel itself," said Vahidi.
The Israeli Haaretz reported last week that Israel's Defense Ministry signed a contract with the U.S. on purchase of 20 fighter aircrafts Lockheed Martin Lightning II in amount of $2.75 billion. The contract also includes the option for delivery of 75 more American perspective fighters to Israel. New technology will arrive in Israel in 2016.
Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Defense Ehud Shani stated that the purchase of aircrafts will allow Israel to significantly increase its military potential. Moreover, he noted that if necessary, the U.S. inconspicuous fighter will be able to fly up to the border of Iran in an undetected manner. Meanwhile, thanks to the acquisition of F-35, Israel will become the first country in the world not involved in the project to build aircraft, but bought it.
