Israeli police questioned Prime Minister Ehud Olmert for a third time Friday on suspicions that he illegally accepted tens, or possibly hundreds, of thousands of US dollars from a US fundraiser, reported dpa.
The questioning at Olmert's Jerusalem residence ended after more than two hours, Israel Radio reported.
It came less than a week before a crucial cross-examination by the premier's lawyers of Morris Talansky, the fundraiser and businessman from Long Island who has become the main state witness in the investigation and gave his own pre-trial testimony to a Jerusalem court in late May.
