French striker Thierry Henry has agreed to leave Barcelona by mutual consent, the Spanish club said on Monday, Xinhua reported.
Barcelona director general Joan Oliver said that midfielder Yaya Toure also has indicated he did not wish to continue at the Spanish champions.
After helping Barcelona to a record six major trophies, including the Champions League, in 2009, Henry scored only four goals last season, his third at the club. He had one year left to run on his contract.
