At least 7 militants were killed and three others injured in a third U.S. drone attack late Sunday night, bringing the death toll to at least 14 in three U.S. drone attacks in Pakistan's northwest tribal areas bordering Afghanistan on Sunday, Xinhua reported.
The latest attack took place at about 9:15 pm (local time) when a U.S. drone fired two missiles in Miranshah in North Waziristan.
In the first such assault, at about 11:30 am (local time) Sunday, a U.S. drone fired four missiles at a suspected militants hideout in Shaktoi of South Waziristan, killing at least four militants.
Shortly afterwards, the U.S. drone launched a second strike in South Waziristan, killing three more people, sources said.
On early Saturday morning, U.S. drone fired five missiles at a suspected militants hideout in South Waziristan, killing at least 16 people.
