Besiktas player Gokhan Tore and five other people have been injured in an armed attack at a night club in Istanbul following yesterday's derby match with Fenerbahce hurriyetdailynews reported.
Tore was reportedly shot in the back and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital. Besiktas released a statement, saying Tore had no relation with the assailant.
Witnesses said the man began to fire his gun after his girlfriend said she was disturbed by how a man with 'red hair' was looking at her.
Besiktas's Communication Committee member Can İpekci and Kayserispor footballer Taner Yalcin were among the injured, reports said.
