Turkey increased the export of cement to Austria by 43.5 percent from January through April 2021 compared to the same period of last year up to $5.002 million, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend on May 18.
The export of cement from Turkey to Austria increased by 60.4 percent in April 2021 compared to April 2020 and amounted to $1.5 million.
In general, Turkey increased the export of cement to the world markets by 23.5 percent from January through April 2021, compared to the same period of last year up to $1.4 billion.
Turkey exported cement worth $402.5 million in April 2021, which is by 74 percent more than in the same month of 2020.
Turkey’s export of these products amounted to $4.02 billion over the past 12 months (April 2020 - April 2021).
