The export of cars from Turkey to Azerbaijan decreased by 3.9 percent, to $66.6 million, from January through August 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports via Turkish Ministry of Trade.
In August, the export of cars from Turkey to Azerbaijan increased by 87.4 percent compared to August 2020 – to $20.2 million.
Turkey in total increased car exports by 29.3 percent from January through August 2021, compared to the same period of 2020 – to $18.7 billion.
Turkey exported cars worth $2.42 billion in August 2021, which is 56.8 percent more than over the same period of 2020.
Over the last 12 months (August 2020 - August 2021), Turkish car exports reached $29.8 billion.
